Farm to Market Road 19
Farm to Market Road 19, or FM 19, is a farm-to-market road, a state maintained road which serves to connect rural and agricultural areas to market towns, in the U.S. state of Texas. The entire route is located in Anderson county. The road is 13.4 miles (21.5 km) long.
History
FM 19 was designated in 1942 as a route between Todd City and Neches. It extended north to Frankston the next month. In 1944, the portion from Todd City to Frankston was canceled. In 1952, FM 19 extended back from Todd City to Frankston, completing its current route. This route was previously designated as SH 272, which was already cancelled before FM 19 was designated.
Route description
The road begins at an intersection with SH 155 in Frankston. From there, it goes south to Neches, via Todd City[1]. The southern terminus is at FM 2574.
